| Thank You for being at the 3rd annual Million Fag March on May 1, 2010 in Topeka, KS! This is where I was handed a card about this website and that is what prompted me to look this awesome site up. I am a out and proud gay man for nearly 20 years. I have seen Fred Phelps and his hate for too long! Being proud of who we are and not hiding in the closets is the only way to gain acceptance. Yes hello i am a gay male who is also intersexual and i am 46 years of age and my whole life i have been the target of hatered from people who do not even know me.
my question is why does these so called people of God chose to be very judgemental of chilredn of God for the book of Ephesians clearly states we are all created just the way God wanted.
please tell me why the glbt people of the world have become targets for stupid people?this is something i do not understand at all how can you preach love and understanding and in the same breath yell out hatefull things toward your fellow man. |

| i was fortunate enough to be born into a family where hate was not taught. i was unfortunate enough to be a bi-racial woman of color in a conservative town. being a natural born misfit i have always empathized with the gay community; even as a little girl who in the wisdom of youth did not understand why homosexuals were/are so mistreated. i am proud to say that i am an ally of the gay community and that good people are good people. it doesn't matter what color, gender, or sexual orientation you are. fight the good fight, my friends. your deserved day for equality will come. |

I have been out since I was twelve and I learned something really valuable early on. When we are afraid, we feed the fear of others. When we face that fear head on and dare to be comfortable in our own skin, people cannot help but accept you.
The most powerful change comes from being yourself everyday and connecting to people as people.
I was nominated for Prom King AND Queen as the first openly gay Prom Court Person in my school's history.
The only time I encountered hatred at school, a guy came up to me and said, "You're a faggot!" I said, "You're absolutely right". He of course had no response.
I was also a straight guy for halloween once. Good times.
